Located in the Okuhida hot-spring district and a 5-minute drive from Okuhida Bear Park, Suisensou offers hot-spring baths, a traditional Iriori fireplace and set-menu Japanese meals. On-site parking is free. JR Takayama Train Station is a 75-minute drive away. The air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms at Suisensou Inn include Yukata robes and an LCD TV, and have a traditional décor with floor cushions and wall hangings. Toilets are shared. Guests bathe at the shared hot-spring baths and sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. A 70-minute drive from the Takayama Interchange (IC) on the Chubu-Jukan Expressway, the hotel is a 45-minute drive to Kamikochi and a 20-minute drive to the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway cable car. The hot-spring baths can be reserved for private use, and guests can soak their feet in the footbath and gaze out at the natural surroundings. There is a drying room for ski equipment available at the inn. The set-menu Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast and/or dinner at the hotel must make a reservation at least 1 day in advance.
