This hotel is located in the heart of the Black Forest, about 800 metres from Triberg town centre. Triberg is famous for Germany's highest waterfalls as well as the world's smallest mechanical handmade cuckoo clock. Berghotel Schwarzwaldblick is situated in a quite canyon surounded by the silver firs, firs and beech forest typical of the Black Forest region, above 800 metres above sea level. Next to the hotel is a hiking trail that goes over a small creek and leads directly to the world-famous Triberg waterfalls. Each room is spacious and includes a balcony, some of the suites have 2 balconies offering a valley view over the town of Triberg and the neighbouring winter sports resort of Schonach. Berghotel Schwarzwaldblick has a restaurant, bar, patio, terrace as well as a wellness area. WiFi is free of charge. There are plenty of free parking places for cars and buses. Good connections are available from Triberg Train Station, just 3 km away. Guests receive a Konuskarte tourist card that is valid from check-in time until the end of the day of departure. The Konuskarte allows for free public transport with trains and buses, free access to the nearby ski slopes in Schonach and Schönwald, as well as free access to Germany's highest waterfalls, a children's park, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool and many other attractions in the Black Forest region.

Please note that WiFi is available in most of the hotel building. Due to the design of the building, WiFi is not available everywhere. For arrivals by train, the hotel is 3 km away from Triberg train station. Guests can take a taxi of Taxi Hermann, which costs EUR 10 for one way drive until 22:00 and EUR 15 after 22:00. Guests traveling with children are kindly asked to inform the property with the number of children and the age of the children in advance. Meal plans are offered from 24 - 26 December 2016 as well as for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Please contact that property for the prices of the meals and to reserve the meal plan by 09 December 2016 for the Christmas meals, New year's meal plan has to be reserved by 16 December 2016 latest. Please note no breakfast is offered on New Year's Day. Instead a brunch starting at 10:00 is offered.
