Informácie o Hótel Geirland

Hótel Geirland is 3 km off the Route 1 Ring Road and 3 minutes’ drive from Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. All rooms offer tea/coffee facilities and views of the surrounding mountain ridge. Some of Geirland’s cosy rooms are set in individual cottages in the garden. Free Wi-Fi and a TV are available in the main building. During warmer weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. The restaurant and bar provide other meal options. Lunch packs can be made on request. Skaftafell National Park is 60 minutes’ drive from Geirland Hótel. Staff can arrange trips to the isolated highland lake, Langisjór. Fishing licenses for the Geirlandsá River can be bought at the hotel.

Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made. If you expect to arrive after 18:00, please inform Hótel Geirland in advance. From October until June, the restaurant is only open from 19:00 until 20:30.
