Rooms at Shimoda Yamatokan Hotel have tatami (woven-straw) floors and large windows overlooking the coast. Guests enjoy can enjoy fresh green tea and watch the flat-screen TV in air-conditioned comfort. An en suite bathroom with bathtub is included. Shimoda Train Station is a 5-minute ride away on the hotel’s free shuttle. Shimoda Kaichu Aquarium is 3 km away. In warm weather, an outdoor pool is available. A concierge helps with sightseeing. Guests are not permitted to bring food and beverages purchased outside the property. Please note that guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to use the hotel’s pools, public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoo might be visible to other guests. The outdoor pool is open from mid-July until mid-September. Swimwear rentals are not available. Guests with a room-only rate or a breakfast-inclusive rate need to carry their bags to the room by themselves and prepare their own futon mattresses in the room. Please note there are no restaurants around the property. The nearest convenience store is located 1km away. The different cancellation policy may be applied for high season so needs to contact the property in detail. The last meal is served at 19:30, and dinner will not be served at a later time. No refunds will be given if guests do not make it in time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. There is no restaurant on site that can be used without reservation.
