Room information

All guest rooms (single, double, triple) are comfortably designed and offer all amenities for your well-being. They are fully equipped and feature cosmetic mirror and ISDN direct dial telephone. Pets are allowed. We also provide special rooms for allergic persons.

Food & beverage

Enjoy a delicious and varied cold/warm breakfast buffet in our breakfast room. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, just enquire at reception - we will be happy to help you.

Area information

The Lahn-Dill cycle path is next to the hotel - you can easily explore the whole area from here cycling along the cycle path R7/10. Go canoeing on the Lahn (with the boats of the hotel and a landing stage on site) or take a wonderful guided tour discovering the history of Goethe and the Dom. There are a lot of attractions in Wetzlar and the area: Dom, Jerusalemhaus, Lottehaus, Schloss Braunfels (castle), Burg Greifenstein (castle). We also recommend a visit to the mine in Solm (now open for visitors), the residence Weilburg and the crystal cave in Weilburg...and a lot more.

Travel information

By car from the A45 motorway: - Exit for Wetzlar Ost and then take the B49 towards Limburg. Stay on that road until the exit for Wetzlar. - Continue towards the city centre / Butzbach and turn left after the 7th set of traffic lights (counted from the exit Wetzlar) onto the Langgasse/Haarplatz. - Turn left again as the Langgasse is a one-way street. From the main station: The hotel is about 10 minutes from the station on foot. Go past the subway and continue straight ahead along the Bahnhofstraße (pedestrian zone). Cross the traffic lights and continue straight ahead towards Buderusplatz. Continue straight ahead and pass another set of traffic lights and you will be on Langgasse.

Quick description

You will stay in the traffic reduced area of the “Goethe Town” Wetzlar, with a wonderful view of the cathedral. The hotel is directly located at the river Lahn, with outdoor swimming pool and park nearby. It is possible to canoe on the Lahn (hotel provides own canoes). You may also enjoy biking tours along the Lahn; the bicycle path "Lahn-Dill-Fahrradweg" (R7+R10) leads directly past our hotel. Business travellers as well as tourists appreciate the central and convenient location of our house. We offer secured parking areas and garages free of charge.
