Located on a hilltop, Genmyoan boasts Japanese rooms with magnificent Amanohashidate and ocean views. It offers a soothing hot public bath overlooking Amanohashidate, massage treatments and an observatory terrace. Amanohashidate Station is 5 minutes away with the complimentary shuttle service. Rooms feature spectacular views from large windows, a tatami (woven mat) floor and traditional futon bedding. They are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a mini-fridge. Yukata robes are provided, and some rooms have an en suite bathroom overlooking Amanohashidate. The Genmyoan breathes a classy atmosphere with kimono-clad staff, antique furniture and traditional decorations. Guests can browse the souvenir shop, or entertain themselves in the games room. A Japanese breakfast and a traditional multi-course dinner with local specialities are served at the guest rooms. Genmyoan is a mere 1-minute walk from Amanohashidate View Land, and a 5-minute walk from both Amanohashidate Onsen and Amanohashidate Jinja Shrine.

Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. The public hot spring baths are accessible from 06:30 until 9:00, and from 15:00 until 23:00. In order to prepare special amenities for men and women, guests are kindly requested to indicate the gender of each guest staying in the room in the Special Requests box when booking. Single use rooms are not available at this hotel.
